You can test whether you are pregnant with the Pregnancy Test from De Medical Tester. The test shows the pregnancy hormone hCG in the urine. An increase in this pregnancy hormone could mean you are pregnant. The result can be read after 5 minutes.
From the start of a pregnancy, the body produces the pregnancy hormone hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin). The amount of this hormone increases in the blood and urine during pregnancy. The urine is tested for hCG to prove pregnancy.
After fertilization, the egg will implant in your uterus and the body will prepare for pregnancy. This can be accompanied by various symptoms. Symptoms that can occur during pregnancy are lack of menstruation, you get tired more quickly and more often, you may feel sick in the morning during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, you feel pain in the lower abdomen, you have tender breasts, you need urinate more often, your taste changes and you may be more emotional due to all the hormones.
The delivery time of our test packages in the Netherlands is 1-2 days and in Belgium 2-3 days.
You perform the test with your own urine. The test can be performed at any time of the day. Hold the sample collection area of the test strip in the urine stream for about 5 to 10 seconds. Then remove the test strip from the urine and put the cap back on the test strip.
The test shows the hormone hCG (human Chorionic Gonadotrophin) in the urine. When an increase in hCG is measured, a colored test line will appear on the test strip. After 5 minutes you can read the result. Two lines means there is an increase in the pregnancy hormone and indicates that you are pregnant.
Read the package leaflet carefully before using the test. The result can be read by yourself within a few minutes.
Looking at sensitivity and specificity, the reliability values of the pregnancy test are very high. In addition, the test is also CE certified.
