If you suffer from itching, a vaginal discharge, sensitive irritation, a rash on the labia and/or a burning sensation on the genitals when urinating, these could be symptoms caused by the candida fungus. The Candida self-test from De Tester is a high-quality test for the detection of Candidaantigens. This fungus resides in vaginal discharge and is collected through a cotton swab (swab). This Candida test is a self-test and has the following features:

The test is based on immunochromatographic technology. The collected (swab) sample is added to the sample field by filling the cap with dilution buffer. From there, the sample then migrates onto the conjugate field, releasing anti-Candida antibodies conjugated with blue-colored latex beads. The newly formed antigen-antibody-conjugate complex migrates further across the nitrocellulose membrane. The complex formed then retains Candida antibodies immobilized on the supporting membrane.
If Candida is present in the swab (swab) sample, a biological reaction will take place and the result will be positive. A blue line then appears in the test line field (T) on the membrane. The test contains a built-in control system by means of a control line (C). The control line confirms the correct execution of the test.
